Patriot is no simple word. And our National Anthem is no simple song, what with its question marks and melodic jumps. But patriot means love of country, so here we go.
Jeremy & Nick did our best to sing our National Anthem – “The Star-Spangled Banner” – on December 6th in Wenatchee, Washington.
We sang the anthem to kick off the “Redemption Weekend” game of the Wenatchee Wild vs. St. Louis Bandits. The Wild were up 1 game when we took the ice. So we had more than ample reason to not screw up. We did our best, and enjoyed the opportunity.
Nick & Jeremy also got to sing a few songs between first and second period. We played our original “Ravel Day” in two-piece formation. Then we played the beloved Beatles song “Across the Universe.”
More video clips to come. Special thanks to Hooked On Toys bringing us out for the game.
Go Wenatchee.
Go Wild.
Happy Holidaze.

Dangit! I definitely would’ve driven from Seattle to come see you play! Are you still on the west coast? Any Seattle/seattle area shows?!
